With the Titan's innovative main tube design, every reel we dispatch is packed into cartons that are under 120cm (4ft) long, meaning they can travel by regular air cargo. This brings significant advantages to our customers, as unlike a telescopic or a one piece main tube, our solution isn't constrained to travel to you on a boat taking months, nor incur huge air freight costs being oversize.
Instead, we hit that sweet spot with the air carriers, so your reel is delivered quickly, and at a economical cost. It also means we don't need to employ local distributors or retailers to hold stock nearby to you, again making very significant cost savings for our customers.
How long does delivery take?
- Within Europe: If you're located in Europe, your order will usually be delivered within 2 to 4 working days.
- Outside of Europe: If you're located outside of Europe, delivery times will typically be around 4 to 6 working days.
- Remote Locations: If you live in a remote area, (like up a mountain, non-mainland island etc.) then the carriers may take a few days longer than the times noted above.
We do aim to dispatch every order within 1 working day of receiving it, and once your order is dispatched, you'll receive full tracking details so you can monitor your Titan's progress.
What does the postage cost?
The worldwide delivery cost varies by country, and depends on which version of Titan pool cover reel you purchase.
With over 150 different countries that we deliver to, and with multiple versions of our pool reel available, the postage cost spreadsheet is pretty large, so rather than present all that data here, we have instead integrated it into our online shop page. To use the shop, simply select the size of reel you need, along with the country you need the reel posting to, and the shop will calculate everything and show the cost to you. Import / Export, taxes, duty and other information.
Ensuring transparency and clarity for our customers, the following information is presented regarding taxes, duty, and associated costs.
For UK customers: Prices displayed on our website for customers in the UK include all applicable UK taxes, specifically VAT, and cover postage costs by road to your door. There are no additional costs beyond the prices listed in our online shop.
For all other locations: The prices shown in our online shop DO include the door-to-door postage costs (by air/road) to your location, but DO NOT include any local sales or other taxes and charges. These sales / value added taxes go by various names in different countries, and most people know what level their government sets this at for their location. By way of example, in the UK this is currently set at 20% and is called Value Added Tax. As noted elsewhere, when we export to a location outside of the UK, we DO NOT charge any UK sales taxes, and instead, as your pool reel passes into your country, your boarder agency / customs will typically add sales tax on at your local rate, and seek this tax from you.
In addition, it is not unknown for some countries to also add a duty charge as well, a charge which goes by various names including an import tariff, customs duty etc. The size of this charge is typically between zero and 5% and is set locally in your country. This charge can be discovered before ordering by contacting your countries customs and enquiring what the duty rate is for a pool reel being posted under International Harmonised Commodity Code 8425 3100 00.
And lastly, when the carrier brings your pool reel into your country, they will normally handle the customs clearance for you and act as the intermediator. In doing this, they will typically add a small charge (often around US$25) for their services.
